The Clay County Agricultural Fair announced today, plans are under way to add a special Hospitality Tent for this year's concerts. The tent will be sponsored by Orange Park Medical Center and will be available to the first 100 guests for each concert. The cost will be $30.00 for the Sam Hunt concert and $25.00 each for Montgomery Gentry, Parmalee, and Ronnie Milsap. The cost does not include gate admission or reserved seating tickets.

The Clay County Fair Association is proud to announce its 2015 Scholarship Program. The program is open to graduating senior students of a Clay County High School or Home Schooled Seniors, who are associated with the following Clay County groups: 4-H, FFA, FCCLA, or Police Explorers .The recipient's College will receive $1,000.00 each.
Applications are now being accepted. Details are available on-line at www.claycountyfair.org , the fair office, or the guidance office at the local high schools.
The completed applications must be received at the Clay County Fair Association office by March 2, 2015. For additional information contact the fair office at 904-284-1615.

The Fair Association has awarded over $130,000 in scholarships since the program began. The Fair Association will recognize this year's scholarship winners at its Annual Appreciation Luncheon on March 24, 2015.
The Clay County Agricultural Fair has received several Awards of Excellence from the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) at the annual convention in December. The awards for the Clay County Agricultural Fair's programs are as follows:
- Overall Program for Commercial Agricultural Vendors
- Program designed to correct an issue or problem – Animal & non animal area in barn
- Printer Material – Livestock Buyer Brochure
Awards of Distinction for Communications:
- Promotional Event – car show
- Newspaper Ad color – jax4kids paper
- Misc. Marketing promotional display or piece- marketing program boxes
Awards of Distinction for Competitive Exhibits:
- Competitive Exhibit Display – New photo background for Livestock
- New or unique single class of competitive exhibits – FFA Booths in barn area
- Competitive Exhibit display photo – Farmall tractor in Horticulture area
The awards were based on entries from the 2014 Fair. Pete Sutton, Manager said "These awards are a tribute to our dedicated volunteers. Their passion is the lifeblood of our success. It means a lot when their efforts are recognized by IAFE. The competition is worldwide. They make us proud"
The 2015 Clay County Agricultural Fair is scheduled for April 2-11, 2015. The theme for 2015 is "Farm Fresh Family Tradition". Hope everyone will be able to come to our award winning fair to see our many volunteers in action.
New this year! A contest available for young ladies age 14 to 21 to compete in the Miss Clay County Fair Scholarship Pageant and the Junior Miss Clay County Fair Pageant. The pageant will be coordinated by Superintendents Diana Rothwell and Linda Lake.
The Pageant will be held during the fair on the Community Stage on April 4, 2015 from 2-6 PM. The winner will be crowned Miss Clay County Fair and Junior Miss Clay County Fair.
The competition includes: western wear, interviews, evening gown & overall appearance, optional categories talent and photogenic.The winners will represent the fair at various functions throughout the year.
