The Clay County Fair Association today announced that it will open its new RV Park to the general public. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony is planned through the Clay County Chamber of Commerce at 9:30 on October 1, 2015 at the park entrance, adjacent to the fairgrounds.
The new park office will be located in the administration office under the direction of the fair association.
The Board of Directors has named Derrell Kelly as the Property/RV Park Manager. He will report to General Manager, Pete Sutton.
The park has 68 spots available with underground utilities. The park was designed and built to accommodate the midway provider employees and vendors during the fair. It will continue to be used for this purpose but now will be available for overnight stay during the non-fair times to the general public.
Sheryl Hartzog, Marketing Director stated “The Board of Directors is excited to make our new Clay Fair RV Park available to the general public and guests visiting Clay County”.
