Clay County Fair Association

We returned this week from our Florida Federation of Fairs Convention in Naples. Great learning experience for our team. We received five (5) 1st Place awards. Great to see our volunteer team receive this well deserved recognition.

Clay County Fair Assocaiton was recognized todayby the Paul & Klare Renihold Foundation at the 2013 Celebrate Clay Awards for a Special Judges Award. Thank you to Amy Parker for organizing the 2013 Celebrate Clay Awards.

Fireshouse Subs Public Safety Foundantion donated an All-Terrain Vehicle equipped with a skid unit to the Clay County Fire and Rescue Department. the presentation took place at the annual Murray Brothers Caddyshack Charilty Golf Tournament; sponsored by Waste Management. This will be a great asset for use on the county fairgrounds during our annual fair and other events. We have a great working relationship with Fire/Rescue and we’re proud to be recognized in the donation.

Our total attendance was 103,367; this is a 5.33% increase. This is our second largest attendance. We are gratetful for our supporters and dedicated volunteers who helped put on another safe, fun Clay County Agricultural Fair. See you April 3-12, 2014!

That's right Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers will be singing several of their chart topper hits and more tonight in the Cattleman's Arena starting at 8PM.  The Jr Talent Show winner Jordyn Stoddard and Sr Talent Show winner Nalani Quintillio will open  at 7PM.

Yes Jon Pardi will be singing that hit and more tonight in the Cattleman's Arena starting at 8PM. Begin a Pardi animal singing Up All Night is part of the fun. Jill's Cashbox will open for Jon at 7PM. This is a great band that you'll want to hear, so come early.

Dustin Lynch is rapidly becoming a country music star. His recent hits of "Cowboys & Angels" and "She Cranks My Tractor" have been popular hits on the country charts. He will be performing these and more tonight in the Cattlemans' Arena @ 8PM. Reserved seating is still available online at www.claycountyfair.org. Opening act will be State of Mind, a young up and coming band. Hope to see you there. 

Colt Ford returns to the Clay County Fair Wednesday April 10th for another concert. this is a repeat of a sell out last year. As of this morning reserved seats are still available online. The concert is set for 8PM. The opening act @ 7PM will be the young talented Dalton Cyr.

Today is Tuesday April 9th. The Fair opens @4PM – 11PM; armbands are $12.00 each for each for unlimited rides. WOW!!! Weather is great hope you can take advantage of this opportunity to have fun at a great price.

Sunday was another Fair weather day in Clay. 14,603 attend the fair this broke previous Sunday record set last year at 14,065. This is the third consecutive year for setting a new Sunday attendance record.
